Construction aggregates lay the foundation and create the infrastructure of our cities and towns. Sand, gravel, and limestone are key ingredients in concrete, asphalt, and base material, which are the building blocks for highways, bridges, public utilities, airports, schools, churches, office buildings, houses, golf courses, football stadiums, and much, much more.
Nugent Sand sources our construction aggregates from natural deposits found within land pits, lakes, or rivers. The raw materials are screened, washed, and classified to create products according to customers' specifications. Upon completion of this process, Nugent Sand reclaims all land to a natural, reusable state. All sand and gravel produced by Nugent Sand are natural, except for byproducts such as manufactured sand, created from the gravel crushing or classification process.
Sand is a fine aggregate, processed from mined materials that pass through a 3/8" sieve prior to being washed and classified to meet certain gradations and specifications.
