For meeting general fill purposes, we also supply unprocessed and fill dirt sourced from a deeper deposit below the farming layer of topsoil. This soil, sometimes known as top dirt, comes from the same quality deposits as our processed topsoil and soil, but it does not go through a screening and sizing process. As a result, it can contain large chunks of hard dirt, roots, and vegetation, so it needs to be spread with a dozer or similar machine.
